Members responded to someone experiencing nausea while taking Jardiance, with several sharing that they had not experienced nausea themselves but noted other side effects like dry mouth and dehydration, emphasizing the importance of staying well-hydrated. Several members offered practical suggestions including trying ginger, cinnamon for blood sugar management, and drinking honey-sweetened hot water, which provided relief for the original poster. A recurring theme was encouragement to consult with a doctor or gastroenterologist to rule out other causes like IBS, gastritis, or H. pylori, as nausea may not be diabetes-related.

Good morning Larry
IBS and Gastritis also causes nausea.
So does h-pylori.
You need to discuss this with your Doctor, as it could be nothing to do with diabetes.

Yes, Joyce. Love of self is what Whitney Houston sang as the greatest love of all. Everyone, thanks for the kind advice. I will consider.

Larry, I love all people. When I see someone suffering I suffer with them. Kindness starts with one's self☺️

Jardiance does not list nausea as a common side effect. However, it can cause other side effects like urinary tract infections or dehydration. If you're experiencing persistent nausea or discomfort, it’s important to consult your healthcare provider to rule out other causes or adjust your treatment. For more details, visit Show Full Answer
