Metformin,
Fortamet I Take It Twice A Day One In The Morning One At Super Time Is It Ok
I take 2 in the morning after breakfast and 2 after my evening meal. I guess it all depends on what the feels is necessary for each individual.
Metformin
I am prescribed Alogliptin 12.5 mg/Metformin 1000 mg tablets two a day. I take one at breakfast and one with my evening meal. Earlier i used to take late dinners with max one hour before going to bed. But currently i am experiencing dawn phenomenon. So my questions are:
1) is it enough strong of about 2 gms of metformin a day?
2) is it a good idea to take this tablet with a very little bedtime snack?

I stopped taking it as it made me real sick but my Doctor was real mad at me and tried to make me take it so I went and found another Doctor !
