Meal Time Insulin

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fort Worth, TX

Meal time insulin is coming for sure. I see my Dr. in September and my am and pm bs are very high. The increase of Toujeo to 80 units is not bringing it down. I really don't like all this testing I will be doing. I have never had to worry about low bs. How do these pumps work? Will they help me have less needle sticks? Do they administer insulin? I need to be educated and know you, my friends, will help. I feel good. Each day is different. Life is an adventure
God bless all of you. Thank you… read more

I Have Been On Lantus For Several Years Now. My Health Insurance Decided As Of 1/1/23 Lantus Will No Longer Be Covered.

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been on Lantus for several years now. My Health Insurance decided as of 1/1/23 Lantus will no longer be covered. Anthem suggested Basaglar, Levemir, Toujeo, or Tresiba. Are any of you on these, any pros or cons of each? It is always something.

I am on Humalog for Quick Acting (as far as I know, this is still covered)

Thanks
