I didn't increase it. I was taking 2 1000 mg a day and now take 4 5oo mg per day. still 2000 mg total for the day. I just didn't see any since in taking one 1000 mg in the morning if I eat breakfast and only have 5 carbs, then at lunch I might have a salad or a chicken salad. I try to take my pills when I feel my body needs them most. I take one (500 mg) in the morning after breakfast, one about 2:00 pm, one around 7:00 pm and the other when I go to bed.....usually around midnight. This has really helped my glucose.

Interesting. I am taking about the same and I was told by my doc that they were okay to take all at once, that they were basically time release and that it didn't matter. If it's working for you bravo. I would likely forget to take them if I did it one at a time. ;)
