What is a good blood sugar meter these days? It's been a lot of years since I've gotten a new one.

Freestyle & Contour Next. They are known to be quite accurate. You want them to be accurate. Don't do the Reli-On meter from Walmart or something like that. As per diabetes educator's, they aren't as accurate.

I use One Touch and Relion from Walmart. ReliOn gives me higher readings than One Touch.
