Anyone Looked Into Vitamin D Supplements For Type 2 Diabetes?
Also type 2 and have to use prescribed Vitamin D supplement once a week as levels are too low.
Yup. I take vitamin d 5000. Every so often they put on the prescription one.
I found out whenI was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of months later she checked my vitamin d levels and it was real low so now I'm on vitamin d also...I don't think one has anything to do with the other but I'm not sure
I'm no doctor and still new to Diabetes and realize everyone's situation is different, but here's a recent article of side effects of heavy Vitamin D consumption on the kidney. https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/vitamin-d-overcon...(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators)?fbclid=IwAR24l7PdWqiv4GusufxljFO--PfcoAfyclM8cGlVP8PZ2XB48E970SmdzMs
It's the amount I need to keep me in the normal range. It was so low I ended up with ostioporosis. Symptoms of low d3 can be bone and muscle aches, hair loss, and fractures. Last year they found a compression fracture in my spine and was told it does not heal but rather the body learns to work around it. Without d3, your body cannot utilize calcium, therefore the bone fractures.
I Am Type 2 And I Treat It With Excercise And Diet. Is There A Vitamin Out There I Could Be Taking That Might Help As Well?
