Pain Relief For Yeast Infection Skin Rash On Torso?

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Langley, BC

I developed a skin rash on my torso 5 days ago. Have been treating it with Clotrimazole cream. Blisters have now appeared and are painful to touch or if stretching. Any topical pain relief recommended for this? Tylenol not really providing much relief. Have a doctor's teleconference on Tuesday but relief needed now for my sanity.

I agree with @A DiabetesTeam Member, that looks an awful lot like shingles.

Traditional treatments included Apple Cider Vinegar (kinda "blotted" on the outbreak with a cotton ball) or a bit of vinegar and baking soda made into a paste (also worked for poison ivy).

My 1st impression is Shingles, as it appears to be in a linear pattern and in 1 region only. Compared to shingles image on the site I am posting to you it looks quite similar

It was. Doctor gave me anti-viral meds & T3's. The rash is slowly fading and get residual pain twinges occasionally. Vaccine recommended in a year.
