Does anyone drink kefir and if so what are your thoughts?

I normally have 2-3 ounces of unsweetened unflavored kefir every other day. Enough for the probiotic effect.

thanks all I make my own with some grains I ordered from texas teas. It takes 18 to 24 hours and I make a quart at a time I actually like it straight and drink a 8 ounce glass a night the kefir feeds on the carbs in the milk so it does not effect my sugar enough to notice the wife puts a few berries in hers and makes a smoothie with it its our nightly bed time treat and I read somewhere it even helps with melatonin production.

Unsweetened & unflavored is the way to go for best probiotic results. The one I use is organic plain. I usually have 1/4-1/2 cup daily.

I really like Kefir and as long as I stay around 1/2 cup it's ok on my blood.
