I Get This Burning Pain In My Hands The Pharmacy Only Give Vitamin B But It's Not Helping Any Advice Thanks
Hi I'm a diabetic using insulin want to know what can I use for Burning pain at night and mornings on hands and feet it's stuff and feels like needles in my feet The pharmacy only give vitamin b BT it's not working I can't sleep any advice please what to use
It sounds like peripheral neuropathy @A DiabetesTeam Member. There are medications like Lyrica that can help.
My Bride does gabapentin 2x300 mg twice a day.
There are other pain killers as well.
She also uses Voltaren gel.
She uses lidocaine pads.
My Mom swore by Salonpas pads.
But the nerve damage that causes the neuropathy results from poorly controlled blood glucose numbers over time.
Vascular damage is addictive and cumulative.
Whenever your blood glucose numbers are outside TITR, time in tight range, 4.0(72) to 7.8(140), you are adding to diabetes complications and comorbidities, by adding to the cumulative vascular damage.
You can halt additional cumulative vascular damage now by doing TITR.
Do what you need to do.
You got this.
Don't try.
DO.
A Dr advice me to take vitamin b12 and megnesium for the burning feet but sill at times the burning is uncomfortable that why don't stand for more than half an hour.
