My Bride has problems when she is less active. When she is physically active during the day, she rarely has issues.

Usually i can fall right asleep, my problem is staying asleep. It varies on reasons, hurting, aching, or insomia. Every once in a while i sleep all night. Wonderful when it happens. Wishing all Good Sleep !!!

@A DiabetesTeam Member yes I have the same problem and eventually I do fall asleep with help of Amitryptline tablets 10mg (they’re a mild sedative and an anti depression medication) hugs from Judyxx

@A DiabetesTeam Member St. John’s wort reacts with a lot you are right. I was taking orally till it made my allergy meds ineffective hence topical application directly on my feet. That has not caused a problem for me. Just an fyi for anyone who is on thyroid meds do not take alpha lypoic acid as it interferes with the absorption of the meds. I was totally bummed because it really did work. I agree you always need to work with your Dr. Mine was very open to my herbal remedies and knew what I took/ take. Partly because I reacted to every blood pressure med I was put on and to so many other drugs. Herbs have been a godsend for me. I only take Synthroid and montelukast (generic singular) prescription wise.
