Have to be careful not to Blame Diabetes (or any chronic condition) for every problem we encounter

Yes, do some Diabetics have a sleeping problem that is diabetes related "sure" but given that 1 in 3 people have an issue significant enough to be categorized as a problem or an issue and only about 1 in 8 people are Diabetic, sleep issues are MOSTLY caused by something other than anything related to diabetes

That's why there is a myriad of sleep clinics, the boom in CPAP machines etc

If it's "chronic" talk to your doctor

I know for myself certain foods before bed can cause me to dream more be more restless and having high blood sugars in my sleep or low blood sugars can cause me to have a restless night or drinking too much before bed in which I get up a few times to check my blood but if I were you when that is happening I would be curous to see what your blood sugar is doing and where you re at? You might be bottoming out too and your body is waking you up cause something might be wrong? So I would check my blood sugar and see where you are at who knows your snack might need to be changed if you are or might be having low blood sugars which can be the cause of what you are experiencing now but for myself both highs and lows I tend to toss and turn and I do feel the differences from having low blood sugars and high blood sugars and I dont like either.....PERIOD....feel yucky mentally and physically......🤗
