I do C,D, E, B12, berberine, ceylon cinnamin, tumeric and ginger, Milk Thistle, Holy Basil, apple cider vinegar, chromium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, CoQ10, ALA, fermented and pickled foods.

These are for a host of different medical issues and stresses that created deficiencies for me and for electroytes and gut health.

I do no diabetes medications yet, but my blood glucose meter tells me I am limited to 5 net carbs per meal.
My A1C when I was diagnosed with diabetes in February 2021 was 13.5.
It has been low 5s since.

A daily probiotic doesn't hurt at all - T2 diabetes is a metabolic disorder so anything that helps regulate is a positive, plus it reduces all tummy issues

Henry hit most of them

I personally take Chromium (improves insulin resistance and most diabetics are deficient in this), Milk Thistle (works similar to metformin on the liver, just far from pharmaceutical strength - half a bottle would replace a single metformin 500mg) and Apple Cider Vinegar in caplet form - slows gastric emptying which slows uptake of carbs - spreads the sugar over a longer period of time

With regards to the Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) which is popular in the liquid form as well with many diabetics

IF you are using one of the GLP-1 based meds like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Trulicity, Victoza, Rybelsus and a few others you should NOT mess with Apple Cider Vinegar

The FDA recently made all of those drugs include a warning about Slow Gastric Emptying which is causing Gastroparesis in some users so you don't want to slow things down even further by taking ACV
