In the last year my Bride and I have purchased 3 different of these smartwatches for testing purposes. They purport that they can read blood glucose numbers. @A DiabetesTeam Member, and @A DiabetesTeam Member.

Yes the non invasive blood glucose devices, like smart watches, have not been approved by any country in the world, for many reasons.

They do not promise accurate blood glucose numbers, because they are highly inaccurate.

The are so inaccuate that I can get a 3.2(56) and a minute later a 8.5(153)... my blood glucose number tested with a fingerstick is actually 6.4(115).

The technology is not there yet. The software is not there yet. And even with multiple sensors, they still suck. Do not waste your money.

If you used them for treatment decisions, they could kill you. Especially if you are doing sulfonureas or insulin. Stick to fingersticks or the cgms. The cgms are less accurate than a finger stick but still acceptable.

My Bride and I have been testing them for months, we have 3.

China will produce and sell you anything. They are guided only by profits.

I repeat, that if you used one of these smartwatch's blood glucose numbers for treatment decisions, they could kill you. Coma and death sucks.

The technology is not here yet.

When one of these technologies gets approvals, we will purchase and test it.

Stick with fingersticks or cgms, for now.

Hi Sheri! Yes, there are devices like continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) that can sync with smartwatches to display your blood sugar levels. These CGMs monitor your blood sugar levels constantly without the need for finger sticks and send the data to your smartphone or smartwatch. This allows you to check your glucose levels at any time. However, remember that CGM readings can be slightly delayed compared to traditional blood glucose readings, especially after eating, exercising, or taking insulin. Always consult with your healthcare team to find the best option for you.
