Ozempic

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Macon, GA

Does anyone on here take Ozempic and if so have you had any issues from taking it? I have been seeing on TV they have law suits against the maker of Ozempic and that really concerns me since i do take it. Thank you for any advice you can give! Have a blessed day

You have to remember WHY you are taking it

It is attempting to control your Diabetes

Uncontrolled Diabetes is DEADLY 100% of the time - your heart fails, your kidneys fail, you go blind, they amputate your lower extremities but fortunately you will likely have such bad Dementia that you won't know it's eating you alive

But Ozempic is a lab created "drug". It doesn't belong in your system and in some people the body is going to "rebel" - yes there are Risks and possible side effects but don't forget why you are taking it

Side Effects, if you experience them, Suck

Dying from Diabetic Complications is a Nightmare that Sucks every day for years

Of course all Diabetics could use "human insulin" - 99.7% natural (with a bit of preservatives) instead of all these other "keep me off insulin at any cost" drugs..

I was told by my doctor that diabetics get the dose of Ozempic they need to control their diabetes. it protects your heart and kidneys; that and Jardiance have an extra blood pressure med in them too. This was told to me by my cardiologist. Now as a weight loss medication the doses are doubled to help the patient lose weight and doesnt affect the sugar; but I am quite sure this is where the problems are coming from. The doctors will monitor your symptoms. I had Victoza for 11 years and have taken Ozempic since May 2021. I couldnt tolerate alot of the meds since I have taken meds at 40 years old. The doctors try different meds so you dont become insulin resistant; like what happens with antibiotics. Hope this helps!
