What Is The Best Way To Lower Blood Sugar? My Body Doesn't Know What Low Blood Sugar Is. The Lowest My Blood Sugar Is Usually Is Around 200
I take 10 units insulin at night and Trulicity once a week.
Yes thats what I think! I was only Taking Trulicity once a week and they were even higher. I've only been taking the insulin since the first of January. I feel like I need to find another doctor. The Trulicity is $1500 a month so I am on a low income program where I get it cheaper. I feel like I need to become a doctor just to figure this out.
If your blood sugar is typically "around 200" you need a lot more meds than that. If you are maxed out on the Trulicity the Doc should be adding a different class of medication or suggesting a Bolus Insulin as well (and up dosing your Basil if 10 units is not getting your down closer to 126 overnight)
Good for you. I hope it bring your sugar down. I'm driving
