First thing you need to do is take a breath and try to relax

Diabetes is a Huge Topic and it is going to take you a couple of YEARS to really settle in - you don't have to figure it all out "today"

And stress and worry make it worse

So try to relax and know this Truth

Diabetes all by itself is not Deadly - IT can't kill you if it is "controlled"

If it's NOT Controlled then the "complications" that it causes, particularly with the Vascular System can take you out in the form of Heart Disease/Stroke or Kidney Failure

So work with your Doctor/Health Team, take your time to develop a plan that may include YOU making significant lifestyle changes with the help of some meds OR simply using the meds

But not any decision you need to make Today or even Tomorrow - so again, take a breath and start to think about the questions you are going to Want to Ask

We can help with those or can help you figure out what you want to talk to your doctor about

I posted on your page a bit of a primer on what to do for the best diabetes outcomes, @A DiabetesTeam Member.

Read and reread it. Do the baby steps. Read it everyday if you can. Start with one thing and keep doing it every day. When you are ready, do another and keep doing it every day. Soon you are on your way.
