I put my T2 in remission for a year @A DiabetesTeam Member. I lost 50 pounds. I was able to come off all medication. I had a lot of stress in my life, was put on medication again. I'm aiming for remission again. My A1C is currently 6.5. It takes work thou. We can't have that,I don't care attitude. Our lives are worth living. We must never give up,ever. Wishing you the best health, always.

I lost 60 pounds and follow a 2000 cal/130 carb (max) a day diet and I take no meds with A1C between 5.4-5.7 for the last 7 years

It can be done and you can maintain it as long as you manage weight and eat within your limitations - but it is work "everyday"

T2 can be put in remission. With proper diet, exercise, and weight loss. No medication needed if in remission. Hugs
