What Do You Wish Other Non Diabetics Could Understand About Diabetes?

I wish other non diabetics would understand that diabetes isn't caused by eating loads of sugar. And that they should be a little bit more kinder. Not all the advice they give is good advice. Sometimes we just need them to listen and not judge us.
We are not weak , self indulgent , lazy fat idiots .
That there is not a certain age you can have diabetes. It can happen to any age group and is a lifestyle change.
