No leg pain anymore, but when I first started on my meds (Synjardy & Mounjaro) I was so dehydrated I was getting excruciating leg cramps every time I laid down. That's gone away now that my body has gotten used to the meds.

Good morning! Yes, people with type 2 diabetes can suffer from leg pain. This is often due to peripheral neuropathy, which is a common symptom of type 2 diabetes. Peripheral neuropathy involves numbness, pain, or weakness in the hands or feet, and it can extend to the legs as well. Additionally, reduced blood flow to the legs due to damaged blood vessels can also contribute to leg pain.

Here are some related points:
- Peripheral Neuropathy: Numbness, pain, or weakness in the hands or feet.
- Reduced Blood Flow: Damaged blood vessels can lead to decreased circulation in the legs.
- Increased Risk of Infections: Reduced sensation can make it easier to develop infections in the legs and feet.

If you or someone you know is experiencing these symptoms, it's important to consult a healthcare provider.

I took Lyrica until they came out with pregablin, Lyrica was effective but I couldn't get off of the couch, I never got use to side effects, and thank you.
