When you have a donut, drink extra water it will help your kidneys get rid of excess sugar. Only you can say no to donuts☺️

@A DiabetesTeam Member Honey is 81% carbs, sugar is 100% carbs so honey is marginally better but I wouldn’t recommend it for diabetics unless it’s a special treat. 1 teaspoon contain about 1g carbs so I suppose it’s ok although the toast would add about 15g carbs so the total would be around 16g and for me that would be way too high as I only consume 10g - 20g per day of carbs.

Problem is Joyce. My roomie goes to Dunkin Donuts every night for dinner and conversation. They love him there and give him a good portion of their leftover donuts to take home on his way out. So, our freezer is full of frozen donuts and located right next to our microwave. I think you get the picture.
