If You Have Type 1 Diabetes, Is There Anything You Can Do Besides Taking Insulin?
I'm sure that helps, Graham. Getting involved in our treatment is always helpful.
Iinsulin is the only treatment for T1 diabetes. Type 1 is autoimmune and damages your pancreas. The pancreas releases insulin. You are replacing the insulin your body is not producing. You may be able to cut back on insulin by watching your diet and eating low carb. Talk to your doctor and see what they say.
Hi Kim. Nice to meet you. Type 1 is autoimmune, and I know of no other treatment other than insulin. Wishing you the best always💖
I hope you do find some alternatives, Kim.
