About Vitamins
I have been told vitamin D helps with my diabetes but when I ask lady in health shop she said I can't help , can anyone tell me what vitamins can I take and as I am already taking vitamin c Cod Liver Oil every day is this wrong ?
Sadly almost everyone is deficient in Vitamin D according to the standard requirements. However that is mostly due to lack of exposure to the sun on a daily basis. That is the best source of vitamin D and a natural way to enjoy a beautiful day as often as possible. One 15 minute break makes a world of difference. All supplements can be a help to your health conditions, however they should be regulated by your Physician in conjunction with your medications you take. Good doctors will do regular blood work to check all important vitamin levels in your blood. Then if needed recommend additional supplements from those test results. Good luck and feel better!!
I take Vitamin D as I was low. Have been taking it for a number of years now. You can get your blood tested to see if you are low on Vitamin D and if you are not sure about what to take check with the pharmacist and let them know what medication you are on and they will let you know if it goes with what you are taking. Some vitamins and medication are not compatible. It always pays to check.
Wow...I stopped taking Vitamin D and my numbers are higher. I take a multi vitamin but am going back to taking Vitamin D again today! I was wondering why my numbers were high when my diet has remained about the same for a long time.
Ok thank you .
My Doctor put me on Vit D twice a day
