Hi , make sure drinking enough water.watchyour carb intake. I don't know if this is an answer that will help but since you have a hard time walking,walk with cane. Sit in a chair move your feet and legs like your walking.😁

@A DiabetesTeam Member, Hi darlin.
If you can do the leg lifts, that's good. Try putting an unopened can of veggies in your hand and do the same. Lay your arm straight out in front of you and lift your arm up and back down. But don't let it touch the floor. Just start out with 5 reps and build from there on each side. Then if your up to it put your arm straight up and bring it down to your hip and back up.
Again once when you come to the hip don't let it rest but bring it back up. Keep it slow and it will build as you do these.

See you around the table.

I have unbearable chronic pain, so exercising is a problem for me. I recently started getting up during commercials & walking in my apartment doing small chores. I've also had to reduce my car intake at every meal. I have found I need to have a small snack before bed to keep my sugars from dropping too low during sleeping hours. I've been eating Greek nonfat yogurt or low card cracker & peanut butter or string cheese. Check your sugars often & try to determine what food is spiking your sugars & what does not. If problems persist, work with your Dr to adjust your meds.

@A DiabetesTeam Member. You can have your tea and coffee. I gave it up and then read it was OK.
I have 1-2 cups in the am only. I love my coffee phoofie too. Creamer and stevia. Stevia comes in flavors, girlfriend. I have at least 6 to choose from. Like chocolate, coconut, toffee just to name a few. I will NOT be giving it up again. It just makes me feel like something about my life is normal.

@A DiabetesTeam Member is absolutely correct. Let me add that every diabetic MUST drink a half to one gallon of water every single day. This is EXTREMELY important for all diabetics and I can explain later in detail, but in answer to your question water flushes excessive sugar from the body. If you have difficulty walking, then try exercises that can be done from a chair. You can find those online. Very important to keep moving in anyway you can.
