My husband use to get leg cramps constantly -he is also type 2 - he uses magnesium tablets from super market - he use to take two a day morning and night. ( about a year) now he takes 1 every other day but if we have a round a golf that night he will take two. Drink lots of water

I've been using magnesium for over a year now for the same reason. two tablets to begin with but have reduced it to one like Stella's hubby above, works great.

Suffered for years, the lack/lost of element potassium is the core issue. Drink lots of water and get some "legatrim" OTC
