i ask this because recently i started being thirsty and urinating a lot like when i first was diagnosed
I am on Jardiance; it causes frequent urination and excessive thirst. it can cause dehydration also, make sure to drink plenty of diabetic friendly liquids, but if your blood sugars are running high, it will also cause these symptoms, are you keeping your blood sugars monitored?
Yes, excessive thirst and frequent urination are common symptoms of type 2 diabetes, especially at the beginning of the diagnosis. If you experience these symptoms, it's important to manage your blood sugar Show Full Answer
Was also happening with me only when my blood sugar was high so pls check up your sugar level
@A DiabetesTeam Member do you regularly test your blood sugar and is it running high lately?
Excessive thirst and frequent urination are signs of high blood sugar
Or have you just started a new medication for diabetes or something else
The diabetes drug Jardiance can cause those (side effects) as could diuretics for High Blood Pressure just to name a couple
