Hi I Have Diabetes 2. I Am On Victoza Which Is The Only Thing That Helps For Me , But There Is No Stock Any Suggestions?
Ask your pharmacist about alternatives which are like Victoza and then get your doctor to prescribe it. If you are a senior some may not be covered; so ask the pharmacist first.
I'm sorry to hear about the stock issue with Victoza. Here are a few suggestions that might help:
1. Consult Your Doctor: Speak with your healthcare provider about alternative medications that can be used temporarily until Victoza is back in stock. They can recommend other treatments that might work similarly for you.
My hubby and I are having the same problem with Ozempic; but have been lucky so far. I month at a time. We do have alternatives from our pharmacist we can take to our doctor if needed.
Follow LynnNMoore. I am having the same problem with Trulicity. It is a frustration. but.my doctor has given me Glimipiride as a backup...with special orders if I can't get my Trulicity refilled when I need it. Then when the supply is up again, it's back to Trulicity. These shortages can be managed but it takes us stepping up and seaching for the answers and then following through. Not a time to just sit back and whine about it.
