I have been takingb vitamin C tablets daily for over 50 years, ever since I read about Linus Pauling's work with C. I think it helps.

I used to do 500mg and stopped more than a year ago. Saw no difference when I stopped. Recently started 1000mg and see no difference in my blood glucose numbers, since starting.

I also began E, ALA, L-glutatione, berberine, and have been taking CoQ10, 5000 units D, tumeric, Ceylon Cinnamon, Holy Basil, Chomium, ACV, and more for years.

I was…emphasis on was…taking Vitamin C 2000mg daily for pain/neuropathy associated with my feet. Decided about a month ago to stop as I couldn't ascertain pain management effectiveness.

At present, not taking any vitamin regimen. Enjoying the PEACE!!

I've been taking vitamin C for longer than I can remember and that was before the Beast ever had his evil eyes on me. As Mikey says it's been around since Linus Pauling worked with vitamin C and published his studies. It's inexpensive and has been well studied by others.

Always consult your doctor before taking any new supplement, including Vitamin C. While dietary supplements are popular among people with diabetes, there is no scientific evidence that any supplement can cure diabetes, control blood glucose levels, or prevent or treat symptoms of diabetes. Supplements cannot replace a healthy diet and are not a substitute for clinically proven drug therapies. Additionally, some supplements may cause dangerous interactions with your medications or increase your risk for kidney disease.
