How Does One Better Manage Blood Sugar Levels During High Intensity Exercise?

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, my name is Abdul - I have type 2 diabetes without insulin. However, my endocrinologist put me on a rapid acting insulin whenever I run as my blood sugar spikes during a run. This seems to keep the spike controlled. When I do a very long run then it stays high for the duration of the run. If I take too much insulin, I end up with a low after about 15minutes. How do you balance this.
