Most diabetics do not have brown patches. It's acanthosis Nigricans,caused by diabetes in SOME diabetics.
You can get bleaching agents but they are expensive.Disguising the patch with makeup or ignore it.

Had to respond...I have one small oblong patch..but it ds=didnt show up until I started insulin treatment....I just use lotion..and make sure it doesnt get rough...if you get an answer..ill look forward to it to
