How Do You Live With A Non-diabetic Without Having To Make Separate Meals?

While there's an extensive family history on both sides of the family, my 18.5 year old daughter doesn't have diabetes and doesn't gain weight.

Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,
I prepare food for everyone in the house. I eat what I can from what I make everyone else. I avoid what I can't eat.

If I need to I can always make a couple of eggs.

When I do the cooking (which is most of the time) if she wants to eat then she eats diabetic as well

If your 18 1/2 yr old daughter doesn't like what you are making for yourself, then perhaps she will work on her culinary skills and cook for herself 😁
