Hi Team, I Had Pasta And Eggs At Some Point. Is That Ok Food All Together? Thank You
Depending on your carb tolerance, how much pasta and whether it was the regular stuff (Durham wheat), whole wheat, multi-grain, high-protein or soy
Pasta is one of the most carb intense, highest glycemic load foods (along with potato and rice) that you can eat
I can only handle about 35 carbs before my numbers head for the moon
A "serving" (55g - about 2 cups "cooked") comes in over 40 carbs - too many so I would have to cut the portion size back (and cut back for the eggs as well - about 3 carbs for 2 eggs)
A "serving" (55g) of a low carb pasta I get (Carba-Nada pasta) would come in at 24 carbs - even with a couple eggs a "safe meal for me"
A "serving" (55g) of a Soyabean Pasta (Liviva brand) is only 7 carbs so I could have a huge plateful, with a few eggs and maybe even a glass of milk (11 carbs) and still be under my limit by a few carbs
It MATTERS what the nutrition label says on the product you are consuming and you have to follow the portion size (or fraction of if you can only handle half a portion) AND how many carbs you can personally handle
I know given Henry's restrictions, he couldn't barely eat a 1/2 serving of the Soy product...
For me the most carbs I can have in a meal is 1 tablespoon.
The eggs are good.
Try testing before eating and at 2 hours. If both numbers are below 7.8(140 usa) then your meal is okay for you.
If not, then cut the carbs to the level you can handle.
