I've Just Had Semaglutide Tablets Added To My Daily Tablets. Anything I Should Know Outside The Obvious?

Effectively the same drug as in the more famous injectables like Ozempic

Won't quite work as well compared to the injectable, some of the "active ingredients" get wasted during digestion and the "uptake" (amount that actually gets in your system) can vary between users - so you can't expect necessarily the same results as someone else on the Tablets if you are comparing notes

But you should expect to see an improvement in your after meal numbers, numbers in general should be lower and you also might lose a few pounds

These are a great option for anyone needing this class of drugs that would prefer not to "inject" one a day or once a week

The drug in this format (pills) is a little picky - should take it first thing when you wake up and no eating/drinking for about half an hour after taking it (trying to get the max dose absorbed)

Other than that, as you note really expect the same with any med - maybe some GI troubles when you first start taking it, increase the dose etc

Thanks for reply. Hoping for good results. Think they would have preferred to give me the injected version but difficult to get because of the weight loss " clinics" online.
