I found about it on facebook. That should have been a real no-no but I looked it up on some sites like WebMD and others. It seems pretty good at helping control blood sugar. Check it out and let me know what you think.

No but I'd like to learn more about it

Yes, it's a Traditional that helps a little bit with blood sugar control in some people

It's not a Medication - none of the naturals/traditionals are anywhere near the strength of a single metformin tablet but they have their place

If you follow a program - control your weight, eat low carb, exercise - do everything you can then the (supplements) can fill in some of the missing pieces and help you out a little more

But never think you are going to take some capsule or tablet that is NOT Pharmaceutical Grade and control your blood sugar you will be very disappointed

I use a Probiotic, Fiber Supplement, Milk Thistle and Chromium - all which have been shown to "help" with blood sugar and the result for me was lowering my average fasting number by 0.3 mmols/5 points

So if your FBS runs up near 200 the supplements are useless and you "need meds"

My FBS averaged 5.7 mmols/103 and it "bugged" me because it was so close to "normal" - the cocktail I take got that down to 5.4/97

In reality Big Hairy Deal - no difference in my health - but getting that last little bit to "Break 100" - super mental victory

There is no substitute for Meds if you need them

I am using it. It makes a small difference for me. About 3-5 points USA.
