The FreeStyle Libre 2 system is publicly covered by several Canadian provinces and by most private health insurance plans.
Yes my insurances covers it as although I am no longer on diabetic medications as I have hypos from time to time. Just it was not covered for everyone on RAMQ here in Quebec Canada, I tried pasting the link for Quebec but the link opens to Ontario for some reason, you just need to click on the Quebec tab right below the yellow coverage greeting.
Not covered at all for Type 2 here in Australia but fund myself as I find the trending up or down arrows super valuable. I can eat less and monitor heaps without sore finger tips. Especially useful when travelling 😁
