Managing hunger and cravings with diabetes can be challenging. Here are some tips from my knowledge base to help you:

Healthy Eating Tips:
- High-Fiber Foods: Include whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and seeds. These slow sugar uptake and keep you full longer.
- Lean Protein: Eat chicken, salmon, beans, or nuts at every meal to stay fuller and prevent hypoglycemia.
- Healthy Snacks: Opt for vegetables with hummus, fresh fruit with peanut butter, or almonds.

Mindful Eating:
- Distinguish Hunger Types: Physical hunger builds slowly and subsides after eating, while emotional cravings come on abruptly and linger.
- Hunger-Satiety Scale: Eat when your hunger rating is between 4 and 6 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Physical Activity:
- Exercise: Aerobic and resistance exercises reduce hunger and increase feelings of fullness.

Additional Tips:
- Drink Water: Sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger.
- Avoid Skipping Meals: Prevents making quick, unhealthy choices.

By following these strategies, you can better manage your hunger and cravings.
