Read, play with our Shitzu puppy, church activities. Word search, crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Enjoy oil painting - mostly landscapes. Creating new low or no sugar, low carb recipes. Talking to friends on the phone. Seasonal decorating our home. Traveling to new or old favorite places....especially finding new waterfalls and visiting my local favorites. Trying new restaurants. Just TRY to embrace the day with a positive attitude 😊 sadly my attitude needs some fine tuning often.
I'm 77 and not as strong as I was when I started weight training at the age of 30. These days resistance band and isometrics as well as a 20 minute walk each day does the trick. Sometimes I do the walk more than once for the antidepressant effects of fresh air.😊
Hitting the weights everyday, sometimes twice a day, listening to some good loud music! On the other side, playing chess, also great way to de-stress.
I find doing pottery to be very soothing. I also love to walk and hike. I wish there was some way of leveling my cortisol levels as they seem to raise my blood sugar reading a lot and they dont seem to correspond to my food intake
And of course how did I forget, listening to beautiful music ,my favourites,Beatles, Phil Collins,Simon and Garfunkel and Josh Grober( you raise me up) and plenty more 👏👏👏🙏❣️
