I was wondering if anyone in this group use a meditation called Glimepiride to treat their diabetes? I have been using the lowest dose of Ozempic to treat my diabetes i had my A1C checked a month ago and it was 5.9 my problem with Ozempic is it's getting hard to afford because when my insurance goes into what they call the donut hole the Ozempic costs me around 250 dollars so i am just trying to get information on other medication that doesn't cost so much, any suggestions you all can give would… read more

Hi Nana. We were having trouble getting Ozempic because it is called a weight loss drug! I did not lose my 70 lbs on Ozempic but no one believes me otherwise and it is insulting. Well anyway I went to my pharmacist and he said the following drugs work like Ozempic in pill form or injection. It has to be taken everyday. Mounjaro; Truicity; Rybelsus; Wegovy; Saxenda. Please ask your pharmacist what is best for you price wise and ask your doctor. Hope this helps.
