It's not entirely what you eat,it's how much of it before a sharp rise in your glucose levels.one of my fav breakfasts, lunch or supper is two poached eggs with one slice wholemeal toast, low fat spread coffee with semi skimmed milk.
I add loads of different protein topping- peanut butter, cheese, sandwich filler,( not all at once) to slice of wholemeal toast

Most of my meals look like stir-fry, or eggs, or soup, or salads, or some combination of the above.

It doesn't mater to me, what meal or time of day. I eat any of these morning, midday, or evening.

I often taken a slotted spoon worth or a stew and made a stew omelet for any meal I'm eating. I made an over easy egg and topped a spoon of stir-fry with it.

A couple of days ago I had salmon and sauteed mushrooms for breakfast. That same day I had 2 oz of Icelandic yogurt and 2 oz of chicken for dinner. I was too full from my goulash lunch to eat any more.

Traveling upsets our normal routines.
