Not something I would consider myself 😁

But something to consider - unless your A1C is controlled to normal levels (below 6.0%/42 mmols IFCC) your "healing" would be long and difficult and could leave some nasty looking scars - Diabetics never heal very well under the best of circumstances and a surgeon (that you would want to use) might not be willing to undertake that kind of cosmetic operation

And that should be fully discussed with the Plastic Surgeon or whomever would be advising on the procedure

Absolutely, the plastic surgeon I spoke to is not willing to do anything if my levels aren’t anything but stellar. I lost alot of weight bc I was put on Ozempic and even with regular exercizing you lose the weight everywhere! Smh.

Always consult your physician before undertaking any surgeries, being a diabetic and, or any other conditions you may have. My best regards to you.🌹

I recently had a MOEHS surgery for a Squamish cell cancer on my forehead. It healed beautifully. But my A1c is 5.2 . Talk with your primary care doctor about your blood work and the advisability of your surgical procedure.
