My watch isn't accurate testing blood glucose. I choose to do fingerstick, just to be on the safe side.

Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,

Those glucose reading smart watches do not have approvals in any country in the world. Because they are so inaccurate.

My Bride and I have bought 3 for testing purposes. They are just novelty items.

If you used one for treatment decisions you could die.

Don't waste your money or your life.

It's your life.

If you want to live your best life with diabetes, control your numbers to the nondiabetic range of 4.0(72 usa) to 7.8(140 usa).

If you control your numbers, both before eating and 2 hour numbers, to this range you will halt additional cumulative vascular damage. That cumulative vascular damage feeds diabetes complications and comorbidities.

You will be able to live your best life with diabetes.

It's your choice. It's your life.
Choose wisely.

It sounds like you're dealing with several diabetes-related issues. Here are some relevant points from my knowledge base:

Neuropathy and Diabetes
- Symptoms: Numbness, tingling, pain in the feet, and muscle weakness in the hands.
- Causes: High blood sugar levels over time can damage blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to nerves.
- Types:
- Peripheral Neuropathy: Affects feet and legs, causing pain and numbness.
- Autonomic Neuropathy: Can cause hypoglycemia unawareness and orthostatic hypotension (sudden blood pressure drops).
- Proximal Neuropathy: Causes severe pain in the thighs, hips, or buttocks.
- Mononeuropathy: Affects a single nerve, often leading to carpal tunnel syndrome.

Foot Care with Diabetes
- Cold Feet: Poor circulation can cause cold feet. Wearing comfortable socks can help.
- Swelling and Pain: Regular check-ups with a foot care specialist are recommended, especially for high-risk patients with abnormal sensation or circulation.

Medical Alert Jewelry
- Importance: Helps first responders provide appropriate care in emergencies.
- Customization: Should include information about diabetes, other health conditions, and emergency contacts.
