A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Inverary, ON

I was reading an article in Diabetes Care Community (a Canadian Organization) and they were talking about the stigma most diabetics face from the general population

They define Diabetes Stigma as:

Stigma arises out of the attitudes, beliefs and assumptions made about those with diabetes by people without diabetes that are part of societal norms.

Stigma arises from the biases that people have toward diabetes. Such biases are sometimes explicit, as in the title above, where the person assumes… read more

Anyone Had Experiance With The AiDEX CGM Continuous Glucose Monitoring System?

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Randburg, ZA

My Son has moved from the FibreLifestyle to the AiDEX system this week,
We found that the readings where very off compared to the blood tests,
bloods reported 17mmol, Aidex reported 7,8 mmol.
Wanted to know if anyone else is on this system and experiences so far?
We did trigger a recalibration yesterday and will report on whether this is now closer to the bloods.

A DiabetesTeam Member

Hi. I'm having the same issue. How do I calibrate for more accurate readings?
