What Is The "correct" Times To Do A Test?
I do my first FBG around 7am and my evening test 2 hours after dinner. The FBG is around 6 to upper 7's. The evening is between 9 and 11. As I'm very new to all this, I go through what I've eaten during the day and "finding" the culprits lol. Also, some times i found an urge for a snack between meals. I try to snack healthy. My Fasting Numbers Are High. How Can I Bring Them Down?
I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. My fasting numbers are in the range of 107-115 when I first wake up. If I don't eat right away they tend to go up. Highest was 125. My problem is my dr takes my fasting number over my A1c which is 5.4-5.6. I am on no medication. During the day my numbers are ok. I know about dawn phenomenon. I'm guessing that what it is but not sure what to do about it? 🤔
Thanks Juliet5! This is what the dr. told me when she said it was prediabetes. "A fasting blood sugar level less than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L) is normal. A fasting blood sugar level from 100 to 125… read more
